Balzac armchair & ottoman

Balzac armchair & ottoman

An iconic early 90s design with genuine poise and balance. This classic design by Matthew Hilton is a wonderfully proportioned piece, luxurious in comfort. It featured in Taschen’s 1000 chairs, is widely used in advertising, and is considered by many as the final word in club chairs.///Description
The Balzac armchair by Matthew Hilton was launched by SCP in 1991. It was SCP’s very first upholstery design. Initially, the design was met with little fanfare, but within a few years its curvaceous looks, modernist sensibility and undoubted comfort had caught the design world’s imagination. It went on to become SCP’s signature piece and bestseller.

Priced with feather & latex cushion as standard.
