The concept for the chair is rooted inĀ striking the perfect balance between aesthetics andĀ comfort. Wegner introduced subtle design details, such asĀ tapered legs which are thickest where they need to support load-bearing joints with the seatās rails,Ā andĀ areĀ most slender at the end closest to the floor.Ā
