Duet vase

Designed in 1993 for Cor Unum by Gijs Bakker, the Duet vase consists of two parts, a vase and a practical lid which can also be used as a fruit bowl.

Cor Unum is a ceramic studio in 's-Hertogenbosch where beautiful ceramics from nationally and internationally known designers are made with great passion and craftsmanship. From the Latin for One Heart, Cor Unum has its roots in sheltered employment, securing meaningful work for people who find it difficult to find work elsewhere. Today they are supported by many: ambassadors and students, designers and volunteers, people at a distance from the labour market and professionals. They all share one common ideal, everyone deserves a place, everyone has a talent and everyone can contribute to making the world a better place.
