A unique sand mould is made for each trivet, shaped by hand at the foundry. After each use, the sand is saved and reused to cast the next piece. Produced in Lyretad, Sweden, at a family-owned foundry started in the 1950s. Ā The founderās grandson is a third-generation iron caster.
