Lamp PL3 - dual functionality
The SOWDEN Lamp PL3 comes in a choice of chrome & white or blue, red & yellow. Each lamp comes with two lampshades, a small singular one and a larger cascading shade. The PL3 has been designed and developed with dual functionality - it can be used both as fixed lighting when connected to a power supply with the USB cable, or as a moveable lamp using the Li-ion battery supplied.///Description
When used as fixed lighting, which could be on a bedside table, between books on a shelf or on an office desk, the dual functionality allows direct connection to a power supply with a USB cable, and even if the battery is not inserted, the lamp will work perfectly.
The lamp is supplied with 6x SOWDEN Li-ion batteries18650, 2600mAh. When the lamp is OFF and connected to the USB the batteries will recharge. After use as a portable lamp reconnect and leave to charge overnight.
When connected to the USB, a red light indicates that the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged, the light will turn green. The SOWDEN batteries are easy to install and can be replaced if required. Flat batteries can be easily swapped with ones that have been fully charged in a battery charger, a useful feature in resturants. The SOWDEN LED disc light source is easy to replace if necessary.
