Based on Viggo Boesen’s original drawings from the 1930s, the Little Petra VB2 extends the design of the lounge chair into a more generous two-seater format. Maintaining the same soft, organic expression, it offers additional space while preserving the inviting, low-slung character that defines the series.

A pioneer of his time, Viggo Boesen brought a new perspective to Danish design and architecture throughout the 1930s. His work was closely associated with the Scandinavian “Funkis” style, a Nordic interpretation of Art Deco, characterised by soft, organic forms and expressive silhouettes.

Boesen’s designs challenged the stricter functionalism of the period, introducing a more relaxed, human-centred approach that emphasised comfort and warmth. His distinctive aesthetic remains an important reference within Danish design history.
