The Isle of Dogs, a peninsula in the East End of London has seen dramatic changes over the last 50 years.Ā The industrial decline of the 1960s saw itsĀ docks close and, following the formation of the London Docklands Development Corporation (LDDC) in 1981 there was a surge in the redevelopment of the area. London Docklands was one of the most important town planning and industrial reclamation schemes of late-20th-century Britain.Ā 

The walk covers some of the island's most celebrated housing schemes, including those by CZWG, Jeremy Dixon and Jestico + Whiles, as well as the pioneering self-build scheme by Stout & Litchfield.///Description
Perambulations is a series of carefully curated and informative neighbourhood architecture walks and cycle rides created by Stefi Orazi. Featuring illustrations from Jay Cover, each guide is litho printed in two colours using plant-based inks on FSC-certified paper.
