The Platner collection of 1966 also includes a side chair, lounge chair, stool, dining table and side table. Inspired by the cultural shift of the 1960’s, designer Warren Platner took the opportunity to combine the prevailing modern rationale with a new, expressive aesthetic. Each piece is striking yet sophisticated, and suitable for living spaces and offices.
Available in two sizes, the Platner wire coffee table comes in polished nickel, metallic bronze or 18k gold plate, with a top in clear or bronze glass. Please enquire for more information.
Materials
Frame features vertical steel wire rods welded to circular horizontal and edge-framing rod. Nickel finish with clear lacquer protection, painted bronze metallic or plated 18k gold. Base features a clear plastic extrusion ring that creates a smooth bottom surface. Clear or bronze glass top.
The Ø92 cm table in nickel and clear glass is included in Knoll's Quickship programme.
