The display cabinet consists of one adjustable inner shelf in glass and the internal dimensions are: depth 26 cm, width 74 cm, and height 38 cm. The display cabinet is delivered unassembled.

First designed and manufactured in 1949 by architect and designer Nils "Nisse" Strinning, the String system was reissued in 2005 and is available in a range of colours and veneers, and is still manufactured in Malmo, Sweden.
