Wood Grain rug

Wood Grain rug

Designed by Dharma Taylor the Wood Grain rug is part of Christopher Farr Editions, a collection of collaborative rugs from some of the world’s most interesting and iconic artists and designers, both past and present.///Description
A multidisciplinary artist with a background in fashion design and textiles, Dharma is fascinated by process and making. With a why not and just do it attitude, she immerses herself in research and materiality, following her curiosity to further develop her own design practice. Her work is narrative-rich and often is inspired by memory and her family history of Caribbean and European dual heritage. Moving between clothes, prints, furniture and woven textiles, she manages this alongside her teaching commitments at Central St Martins. Since graduating from the London College of Fashion, her work has been shown by a variety of national and international galleries including the V&A, Tate Britain and Benaki Museum in Athens.
