In Japanese, "za" means a safe meeting place, which is the setting destined for the Za bench. Inspired by this ancient tradition of hospitality, Shin and Tomoko Azumi have created an elegant seating system ideal for waiting areas, museums and shops.

Every single element of Za system can be combined and repeated in an infinite number of ways. With alternating straight and curved elements, itĀ can be used to createĀ dynamically shaped and invitingĀ seating arrangements.

Die-cast aluminium frame with steel supports powder coated. Seat in moulded plywood in several finishes. Glides in polythene.
